This Privacy Policy describes how Nocwing ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Nocwing platform and its integrations ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account or authenticate with the Service, we may collect:

Name and email address
Organization or company name
Authentication credentials (stored in hashed or tokenized form)
Role and permission level within your organization

2.2 Third-Party Integration Data

When you authorize the Service to connect to a third-party platform such as QuickBooks (provided by Intuit Inc.), we may retrieve and temporarily process data from that platform on your behalf. This may include:

Invoice and billing records
Customer and vendor information
Transaction and financial data
Account and company details

This data is accessed only as authorized by you and only to fulfill your requests within the Service. We do not permanently store raw financial data from QuickBooks beyond what is necessary to deliver the Service to you.

2.3 Usage Data

We may automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including:

Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps)
Feature usage and query patterns
Error and diagnostic information

2.4 Communications

If you contact us for support or other purposes, we may retain the contents of those communications.

3. How We Use Your Information

Fulfill requests you make through the Service, including retrieving data from connected third-party accounts

We do not use your data or your connected third-party data for advertising purposes. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-Party Integrations

4.1 Intuit / QuickBooks

The Service integrates with Intuit's QuickBooks platform. When you connect your QuickBooks account, you authorize Nocwing to access data from that account via Intuit's API on your behalf. The scope of access is limited to what you grant during the authorization process.

Data retrieved from QuickBooks is used solely to respond to your requests within the Service. We do not share QuickBooks data with third parties except as described in Section 5. 4.2 Revoking Access

You may revoke the Service's access to your QuickBooks account at any time through your Intuit account settings or by disconnecting the integration within the Service.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers: We may share data with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, authentication providers), subject to confidentiality obligations.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Nocwing, our users, or others.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users before any such transfer subjects information to a materially different privacy policy.
With Your Consent: We may share information with third parties when you have given explicit consent to do so.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information and account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Data retrieved from third-party integrations (such as QuickBooks) is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill your request or as required by law.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address listed in Section 11.

7. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (TLS), access controls, and authentication requirements.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

The right to request correction of inaccurate information
The right to request deletion of your personal information
The right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
